Glass fiber fabrics have different weaves as follows:
Plain - cheaper and least soft, but combines well when cutting
Twill weave - a compromise between plain and satin weave; medium strength and flexibility of the required cosmetic
Satin weave - medium strength. Having a filling yarn that floats on three to seven warp yarns and then stitches under the other; produces a flat fabric
No matter which weaving method you choose, all fiberglass fabrics on our site can be used with resin. When used in combination, fabric and resin form chemical bonds that form rigid composite parts, such as hulls, which we often call fiberglass. Technically, it is glass fibre compound material 。 Glass fiber composites are commonly used in ship, aerospace and structural applications.
